ISHPI

Intelligence & Counterintelligence Support Services

“I would like to commend ISHPI for outstanding analytical support to the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) while providing Intelligence Analyst, 12/Mission Integration Division, General Support Branch, Red Team. Their contributions to the Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) mission have been remarkable.” –Lt. General John D. Johnson, US Army, December 2014

ISHPI’s Intelligence and Counterintelligence subject matter experts (SMEs) research and capture open source information and provide a conduit to harvest the best thinking and innovations from leading industry and academic experts from the United States, its allies, and coalition partners.

Drawing upon decades of military intelligence and other related experience, ISHPI professionals and SMEs provide intelligence and counterintelligence support services to a variety of U.S. Government clients including U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM), U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), U.S. Air Force (USAF), and the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO).

For JIEDDO we have led intelligence production efforts, coordinating with more than 30 internal enablers as well as with intelligence community, interagency, commercial, academic and NGO elements. Our team leveraged its extensive professional and personal network to identify world-class SMEs to provide insight into the human, cultural, financial, diplomatic, political, tribal, and religious factors bearing on the problem set. This combination of intelligence data and external open source and SME information enabled us to effectively support operational planning efforts, serve as the adversary during exercises and courses of action development, and act as the devil’s advocate for planning and organizational reviews.

ISHPI’s expert analysis adds country and regional context to traditional intelligence information, including image intelligence (IMINT), signal intelligence (SIGINT), and measurement and signature intelligence (MASINT). Our analysis also helps prepare personnel in pre-deployment work-up stages and is used to provide training and to perform research, experimentation, studies, and analysis. ISHPI SMEs research cultural, religious, political, economic, military, and intelligence operations and capabilities, foreign affairs, and geographical and environmental characteristics of specific theaters of operation. This entails being knowledgeable and up-to-date regarding the concepts of operation and the tactics, techniques, and procedures used in asymmetric warfare, unconventional warfare, irregular warfare, counter-terrorism, counterintelligence, and IED tactics.

ISHPI has provided oversight of 60+ intelligence products annually to support warfighters engaged in tactical-level combat, as well as national-level elements such as the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC). Our extensive experience operating at all levels, strategic to tactical, has enabled us to develop and resource analytical products that answer each customer’s particular needs within the appropriate context.
