As a premier engineering provider, ISHPI spearheads systems engineering approaches and creates a complementary suite of systems engineering, governance, and policy documentation to support our customers who depend on Information Technology (IT) to safeguard our nation. To satisfy mission demands and operator needs, ISHPI creates mission-focused and inter-operable systems using enterprise-wide and net-centric solutions, an optimized infrastructure, and reliable communications. These quality services depend upon the implementation of industry best practices across the enterprise, such as the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and sound systems engineering processes, such as the Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and the System Engineering Lifecycle (SELC). ISHPI is the leading Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and System Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) for the USCG. We deliver SMEs who have the ability to prepare technical overviews, progress reports, technical questions, trip reports, and conclusions from research and analysis from independent verification and validation.
Our C5ISR Engineering and Technical Services Group has the ability to plan for asset and system sustainment, identify and support systems and test equipment, manage technical data and engineering changes, develop operator and maintenance training, support coordination with diverse stakeholders, recommend and submit technical solutions, and maintain system configuration and documentation. ISHPI performs comprehensive operational and functional requirements analysis, provides implementation support, and participates in system and platform sustainment planning for numerous DHS, DoD and IC customers.
Testing & Evaluation
ISHPI’s System Engineers develop system documentation in accordance with design specifications and established acquisition strategy, supporting a variety of C4ISR system development and testing activities that include: helping to develop/acquire the system specifications, validating a system’s alignment with the established enterprise architecture, conducting system testing and training needs assessments, updating training plans as required, preparing for system implementations, updating CM and supporting documentation, obtaining FISMA Compliance (Authority to Operate and Authority to Connect, updating System Documentation, completing privacy impact assessments, and completing infrastructure reviews. Our support in the T&E phase of the SDLC ensures effective acceptance testing and successful system implementation.
Operations & Maintenance Support
ISHPI focuses S activities on production of a total system solution that is dynamic enough to adapt to the changing technical, production, and operational environments. We work to ensure that systems are adaptive and responsive and balanced between the various requirements, design constraints and program budgets. During the O&M phase, we ensure that our customer’s needs are continually being met by verifying that system performance parameters are still operating to established specifications. ISHPI’s engineers are focused on maintaining the system’s performance capability relative to the threat the system faces. We achieve this by performing required system maintenance, modifying a system in accordance with Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs), updating security risk assessments and certification and accreditation (C&A) items, conducting periodic operation analysis, testing contingency and disaster recovery plans, and identifying system disposition needs.
