ISHPI AWARDED 5 YEAR CONTRACT TO SUPPORT VIRTUAL LIFETIME ELECTRONIC RECORD APPLICATIONS

Suffolk, VA Ishpi Information Technologies, Inc. (DBA ISHPI), a CMMI Maturity Level 5 Federal Information Technologies services provider, has been awarded a call order contract to perform Virtual Lifetime Electronic Record (VLER) Application Sustainment for the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC). This contract is valued at up to $10.99M if all options are exercised.

VLER is a mission-essential family of software applications and products that track the medical history of military personnel through their entire service, from active duty to veteran status. ISHPI will maintain the applications and products that comprise VLER, providing responsive support for the applications, and supporting Information Assurance (IA) activities and vulnerability remediation.

Virtual Lifetime Electronic Record (VLER) is an electronic health record program that tracks the medical history of American soldiers through their entire service, from active duty to veteran status. A veteran’s medical care can come from a number of different providers. The VLER streamlines medical information and enables medical records to be shared between the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), military treatment facilities, and health care providers in both the private and public sectors.
