ISHPI CEO Named Outstanding Alumni by Strayer University

Mt. Pleasant, SC – Noah T. Leask, Chairman and CEO of Ishpi Information Technologies, Inc. (DBA ISHPI), was presented the 2014 Outstanding Alumni Award from Strayer University during the regional graduation ceremony held at the Verizon Center on Saturday, June 28, 2014, in Washington D.C.  The Outstanding Alumni Award recognizes and honors a highly accomplished Strayer graduate who not only demonstrates exceptional leadership in his or her professional, public and personal life, but takes daily strides to aid the improvement of others and selflessly makes contributions to the local community.

Mr. Leask earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Networking in Washington, DC in 2004.  Since that time, he has personally donated countless hours serving not only his local community of Mt. Pleasant, SC, but also his hometown of Cheboygan, MI. Mr. Leask truly believes in the value of today’s youth and has established a number of programs to aid and empower those who are willing to work hard to achieve success.  As he co-founded ISHPI, his vision of making a difference became top priority and thus created four community service programs within TeamISHPI – 1) the ISHPI Warrior Program (Veterans of all Branches aiding in counseling, mentoring, professional growth, establishing veteran-owned or service disabled veteran-owned businesses), 2) the ISHPI Exceptional People Program (Mr. Leask is a Board member of the Special Olympics of South Carolina, Tri-County Autism Puzzle Place Academy TCAPPA, Rein & Shine equine therapy, College of Charleston Realizing Educational and Career Hopes (REACH) Program providing intellectual disabled students opportunities to achieve their personal potentials, and the Charleston Area Special Olympics/Mount Pleasant Recreation Departments Unified Athletics program (MPRD) focusing on providing children with disabilities to participate, train and compete in team sports), 3) the ISHPI Native American Pride Program (Established in 2013, the Noah Leask Family Scholarship annually grants a minimum of twenty $1,000 scholarships to the Sault Tribe Higher Education Program for students enrolled in college full time towards an Undergraduate degree at any accredited college or university and the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of SC (AICCSC) Youth scholarships) and 4) the ISHPI “Save Second Base” Program (Designed to support the National Breast Cancer Foundations fight against break cancer).

His most recent personal awards include: 2013 CEO of the Year Award Winner from CEO World Awards, 2013 SBA National Small Business Award Winner as the Small Business Personal of the Year 1st Runner Up and 2013 SBA South Carolina Small Business Person of the Year.  While the awards on the wall show the growing achievements of Mr. Leask, his most valuable award will not be found on paper but can be seen in faces of the adults and youth whose lives he has touched.
