Vice President of Capture
Joshua Hatter joined ISHPI as Vice President of Capture in 2018, where he is responsible for the development and execution of the company’s processes to grow and sustain the business. Priding himself as a natural networker, he excels at developing business partnerships and putting people together for the most ideal solutions to address complex challenges facing the warfighter today.
Mr. Hatter brings more than 15 years of experience growing companies ranging in size from less than 100 employees to the Fortune 100. He has managed multi-billion dollar business development pipelines and developed account management plans for new business and recompete opportunities for lines of business ranging from $14M to $300M. Over his career, he has led the development and submission of more than $12B in business proposals resulting in the successful capture of more than $10B in contract awards.
Having moved from metro Washington DC to the Charleston area in 1999, Mr. Hatter is a strong advocate for companies looking to grow in the defense industry in the Lowcountry. He has served on Board of Directors for the Charleston Defense Contractors Association (CDCA: www.charlestondca.org) since 2010 and served as Treasurer and Vice President prior to his current role as President representing a contractor base of 11,000 people with nearly 300 member companies and $4B in collective annual revenue. He is responsible for the overall strategic direction of this nearly $1M organization leading a team of 11 directors, a public relations firm, lobbyist, 2 employees, and multiple vendors toward pursuit of the organization’s strategic goals.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the College of Charleston and a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.
